Beautifully British; Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller has to be one of the most stylish and beatiful people of the noughties. I totally adore everything about her (except her taste in men), she is a natural beauty with a flair for fashion. It is her classic style with a quirky spin which has led to publications such as The Fashionables, brand her "An Original Fashion Icon".

The British/American actress denying her American origins, has become a fashion icon in her adoptive country adopting a boho-chic style self imposed without any stylist’s consultancy.

For the “every day” outfits Sienna approaches a bohemian look extremely charming and relaxed but also very hip. The most popular items in Sienna’s outfits are leather jackets; cardigans, jerseys, skinny jeans, denim mini skirt or contrary, long gipsy skirts in hippie style combined with velour boots and oversized bags, all perfectly associated to create a feminine but fashionable look. Sienna combines fabulous scarves with colorful beads, large sunglasses and the so famous Fedora hat she loves the most.

The beautiful actress wears miniskirts one day and “garcons” outfits the next with white shirt, vest and of course a slender tie. After she played Edie Sedgwick the 60’s idol, (another of my fashion icons) Sienna started wearing the same 3/4 sleeve jackets ,mini skirts and dresses, bootees and even the short hair cut which she worked amazingly.

Under the spot light and on the red carpet the gorgeous blonde is always on the line with the event she is attending. Her outfits are always glamorous and refined but in the same time always her style. The most popular of her choices are the fairy style dresses, white, grey or silver, pastel silk dresses but also slender purple or black outfits like the black boudoir dress by Stella McCartney that she wore at the premiere of the movie “Casanova”.

The 60’s trends are present also in these outfits. Large chandelier earrings, wide bracelets and a perfectly picked envelope bag are exactly the touch that makes her stand out as a fashion icon.

Sienna has favorite designers like Mathew Williamson (whom she is best friends with) and Marchesa as well as famous brands like Chanel.

As for the make-up and hair Sienna is very much into minimalist style. She likes to wear her natural beauty (freckles and all) underlined with a drop of mascara and lip-gloss. Her hair is styled in soft curls/tousled or caught is a loose stylish bun. Sienna’s style became so popular that all over the web are sites preaching her style teaching ladies how to dress like their fashion icon.

Not only that, she owns fashion label twenty8twelve with her sister Savannah. Sienna’s line features jeans, dresses and jackets. The actress is a graduate of a London design school, her line was likely reflect her education; Sienna: “We wanted to create that London world that feels inaccessible.” Sienna’s sister Savannah is a co-designer. Pepe jeans owner Carlos Ortega is the money man. The label has went from strength to strength and has hosted shows and London fashion week, as well as being worn by some current stars such as Blake Lively.

Miss Miller has shot to fame over the last few years, impressing both the film and fashion industry with her beauty and innovation. Below, are some of the fabulous magazine covers she has shot that have now become iconic.

A little timeline of Sienna's fashion credentials...

As her relationship with Jude Law hits the headlines, Sienna is penned by the media as the queen of boho. Where would she be without her LV leopard print scarf and Raybans!

A perfect example of a Miss Miller daytime look, I love how the pillar-box red ankle boots pop against the grey skinnies. Also, the bottom picture summarises in a very plain way why I adore this lady smart, classic and stylish.

As she chops her hair for her role as Edie Sedgwick, Sienna stays firmly on the fashion pulse.

Turning heads on the red carpet, Sienna is polished perfection. I especially love the red feathered Valentino gown, no-one else could of pulled it off.

Those hotpants. Scrutinised by the media and public. Again, only Sienna.

Sienna's 2009 style seems to be changing and surprise surprise its a success! She is slowly ditching the boho chic and travelling in a more polished and classic direction. Her outfits are clean-cut yet high fashion, she has made the wise choice of moving on from her 'thrown together' look. Yes ladies, there comes an age where we all need to give up on the bed-head style and realise we don't always look so great after rolling out of bed, lighting up a cigarette and throwing something on.

She's fearless when changing her look for different roles.

Alot of Sienna's outfits are heavily influenced by retro fashion.

Whether you love her or hate her, Sienna Miller has made a great impression on the fashion idustry. I personally cannot fault the girl, she is by far one of the best dressed celebs around. She is someone who clearly has a lot of talent and knowledge within the industry and uses it to the best of her ability. Always looking fresh and fashionable, she is not afraid to take risks. Go Sienna!
